LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!

North Stradbroke Island, colloquially known as Straddie or North Straddie, is an island that lies within Moreton Bay in the Australian state of Queensland and lies some 30 kilometres southeast of the centre of the Brisbane CBD.

North Stradbroke Island is the place to spend a day, a week or a month and feel the importance of this cultural paradise.

Known as Minjerribah to traditional owners (the Quandamooka People), Straddie has a natural beauty not often seen and a spiritual connection not often felt.

Some of the best freshwater beaches in the world are attached to both the bay and the lakes at North Stradbroke Island.

You can swim , surf, fish, have a beach run,  go for leisurely walks, watch the sunset, visit the Brown Lake or the Blue lake, take in dinner or lunch, or  just simply relax and soak up the sun.
